4 bedroom, 3 full bathrooms, private setting in a quiet family neighborhood, 5 minutes from MSU campus and 14 minutes from Lansing Capitol. Your home away from home. Our house is situated in Okemos on an acre of prime real estate, in an affluent suburb of Lansing. You will be surrounded by nature and nestled under a canopy of beech, oak and maple trees. This house is perfect for a weekend with family and friends or a retreat with business colleagues. Drive, walk or take the bus to campus.

The space

Recently refurbished, offering all new mattresses, sheets, towels and appliances. Our house in the woods offers all the comfort and coziness for a short term stay, while enjoying MSU's facilities : sport or cultural events, local parks, lakes and everything the greater Lansing area provides.
Perfect for up to 14 guests, University Ranch has 4 bedrooms two are ensuite. Our large master suite features a king size bed and mounted television for your entertainment. Bedroom Two is complete with 2 double beds and attached full bath.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (2 ovens, an electric stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher), CrockPot slow cooker, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans of all sizes, plates and cutlery. There is lots of room to cook and tons of cupboard space. The fireplace is not operational.

The large dining room table will seat 8-10 guests and there's an extra folding table for 4 if needed. The Rec-Room is located in the lower level and will provide entertainment for the whole group. There, you will find a vintage Sony Playstation 1 and a dozen games, a smart TV, a fridge for all sort of beverages, a Yamaha keyboard with music sheets books, and a wall mounted dart board. The washing machine and the dryer are available in another section of the basement, with provided detergent tablets.

The "triangle area" is another important part of our cozy home : there, you'll be able to enjoy the local wild life, thriving in the wood surrounding the ranch. Deer, squirrels, wild turkey, chipmunks, raccoons, song birds of all sorts are common in the neighborhood and a pair of binoculars are available to comfortably watch them through the windows. We also have on display an original piece of history : the "Lightning Ball" 1959 Gottlieb pinball machine, this gives an awesome and very cool look to this room. At some point, you might also want to check on the 2 geographical maps of France and the city of Paris (back in the '50s).

There are six standard super comfortable beds in 4 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 double beds, and 2 twin beds. In addition we a futon couch and 2 single air mattress that work great for kids.
