Ski and Yoga Weekend
Chillax with Spring Skiing and Yoga March 28-31. This will be a fun weekend in the French alps with skiing, yoga, shopping and enjoying the local cuisine of the Haute-Savoie. If you are not a skier but still want to experience this super beautiful area of France, no problem, you can do yoga, or go shopping and discover the medieval city of Annecy. Bring your husband or a friend and explore with us. We are staying in a super spacious bed and breakfast style Mountain Villa in Menthon-Saint-Bernard on Lake Annecy. LASR from Menthon Stain Bernard and Annecy
Menthon-Saint-Barnard is located in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France; 4 hours by TGV from Paris. This is a very beautiful area of France with great food and wine.

The Lake Annecy Ski Resorts (LASR) are located 30 minutes away from our accommodation, alternatively there are higher ski stations at Chamonix Mont Blanc, which are a 90 minute away. If you are not a skier you can stay and do yoga at the nearby yoga studio, or take the local bus into Annecy where you can explore this gorgeous medieval city. If you are so inclined we can arrange both yoga and skiing each day. If the weather is nice, day hikes or paragliding are also an option. Come for a weekend of food, fun and adventure.

What’s included:
TGV Paris-Annecy Return, you must registered by Feb 24 2018.
Accommodation including daily breakfast and snacks, lunch first day at our B&B.
Transportation from Annecy, buses run about every hour into Annecy.
What’s not included:
Daily Ski Pass: Approximately 40 euros per person per day
Daily Yoga Approximately 40 euros per person per day
Lunch and Dinner. Go get the full local experience we will be visiting some fabulous local restaurants for dinner. Lunch will be on the mountain or in town.
SCHEDULE:
NOTE: The plan is to spend Breakfast and dinner together and the rest of the time you can spend as you please. We will organize trips together as it makes sense once we arrive.
PLEASE NOTE: This not a guided tour and with exception of the train we do not we have a strict schedule. So you can ski, or relax as you please.
March 28 Depart Paris Gare de Lyon at 9:49 am. Arrive Annecy at 13:29
Pick up cars and proceed to Menthon Saint Bernard. - Late Lunch at Lake Annecy Villa.
Explore area Dinner at Ferme de la Charbonnier - A working dairy farm that offers a resturant of locally produced goods. We dine next to the beautiful bovine providers of these delicacies; Savoyard fondue, tartiflette, Raclette Maison, and more. You can not get more local than this. 23 euros for the menu.
March 29 -Breakfast at the house before leaving for Ski area or Yoga and shopping. Dinner at Le Confidentiel - This cuisine is innovative, while relying on traditional roots and focusing on the seasonality of local products. , Menu price, 33 euros, starter, main course, dessert. Super delicious food. Received “Distinction d’une fourchette au guide Michelin”.
March 30 Breakfast at the house before leaving for Ski area or Yoga and shopping. Dinner at Hotel la Charpenterie refined regional cooking that combines both gastronomy and tradition where you can taste the specialties of the region. Menu at 28 euros.
March 31 Breakfast at before leaving for the train station at 11:00 am. Train departs from Annecy to Paris at 12:32 Arriving in Paris at 16:11.

** We will be renting cars and ideally a few people in our group should be willing to drive, this is especially important if you want to go to the higher ski stations. There is also bus transportation into Annecy about every hour, the complete timetable will be available at the house.
