A dozen expat ladies spent four days in Dublin with one goal in mind, FUN! It was a glorious long weekend in October as our group from Paris gathered in this spectacular location to do an extended girls weekend that included yoga, pilates, food and shopping. The venue could not have been more perfect. A truly magnificent estate located on Dublin Bay overlooking Dalkey Island and Sugarloaf Mountain. This Mediterranean Villa on the Irish Sea is located just south of Dublin (25 min by car, 30 min by rail) in the gorgeous little village of Dalkey where there are loads of unique and precious boutiques for even the most discriminating shopper.
We brought our own instructors from Paris. The one and only Ann Moradian, voted "Best Yoga Instructor in Paris 2016" and "Pilates Pam" who is both experienced and skillful in the art of glute management. Together they made a great team that kept the ladies moving and laughing.
Food was a big part of this escape and "Chef Stacy" did not disappoint with lots of yummy, heathy, and nutritious meals. Despite all the scheduled fitness there was still time to go shopping and exploring in Dublin.
Our next Yoga and Wellness Weekend is scheduled in April in Portsalon, Co.Donegal Ireland. Stay tuned for the announcement of our next October escape, this time in France.

Dalkey is a charming village, and it was a treat to wake up each morning to the magnificent view of the bay. The house is both luxurious and comfortable, and the garden is beautiful! The house is beautiful, it's in a spectacular location & was perfect for the purpose of the fitness classes. It was wonderful to look out onto the sea from the room downstairs whilst holding a yoga position or sweating buckets from the step class!
I loved the mix of exercising in the mornings followed by trips into the fair city of Dublin in the afternoons.
The healthy, delicious menu was the icing on the (healthy) cake.
